Founder of Spa Standards and the TISS Training Method
Twenty-five years ago, my passion for wellness and health led me to the spa industry. After many years as a massage therapist and Pre-opening Trainer for Rocco Forte, I managed the spa area of Aman Resorts in New Delhi and spent several years as a Spa Manager in the luxury hotel segment in Austria. Today, I know the spa industry from many different angles and perspectives.
As a Spa Quality Professional, I now bring all my experience and expertise together in TISS - Training for international Spa Standards.
TISS is the product of my deep knowledge of the industry and a broad range of studies that includes design – a field that taught me to notice even the smallest details very early on. TISS uses these details as subtle levers that can make a big difference, and can sustainably increase the quality of any spa.
As a therapist, Service Excellence was what motivated me to not just meet, but surpass my clients’ expectations. As a spa manager, my main focus was improving quality standards through ongoing training. Building on my experience and my root cause analysis of common spa shortcomings, the logical next step was to develop a method that meets the highest quality standards – and actually works.
Teaching and training spa teams is one of my greatest passions. I love sharing my industry expertise in an open, humorous way, and inspiring people with my own enthusiasm for the spa industry and lifestyle.
